TRAINING ABSTRACT

  • The MISP Threat Sharing Platform is a free and open source software helping information sharing of threat intelligence including cyber security indicators.

  • MISP - A Threat Intelligence Platform for gathering, sharing, storing and correlating Indicators of Compromise of targeted attacks, threat intelligence, financial fraud information, vulnerability information or even counter-terrorism information. 

  • The training will show the platform, its functionalities and demonstrate how to benefit most from sharing, commenting and contributing to the global cyber intel information sharing community. 

  • At the end of the day, every participant will be knowledgeable in information sharing about cybersecurity threats and become a proficient MISP user and threat intel handler.

The MISP Threat Sharing Platform is a free and open-source software helping sharing of threat intelligence including cyber security indicators.
A Threat Intelligence Platform for gathering, sharing, storing, and correlating Indicators of Compromise of targeted attacks, threat intelligence, financial fraud information, vulnerability information or even counter-terrorism information.
MISP is an OPEN SOURCE AND FREE PLATFORM developed and sustained by the Computer Incident Response Center in Luxembourg along with being co-financed by the European Union via the Connecting Europe Facility, and is used in multiple organizations to store, share and collaborate on cyber threat intelligence, and to also use IOCs to detect and precent attacks.  Organizations (NATO, EU, 139 CERTS worldwide (including US-CERT), over 6,000 private-sector organizations, academia and government).   The aim of this globally trusted platform is to help improve the countermeasures used against targeted attacks and set up preventative actions.
